Love.. pentagon with a whole lotta problems?

Okay, I'm in middle school which is kind of young for dating yeah I know, and I'm not going against my parents' wishes to not date at 13. But, this school year, I made friends with a new guy in school, and we have all the same interests and like the same music and whatnot.. We went out to some concerts and hang out at the library sometimes, but we aren't dating. He flirted with me every chance he got though, and he's shy and doesn't act the same way towards other girls. I'm kind of shy too, so I tried to be social and introduced him to my girl friends. Now that school is over, we don't see each other that much but still talk a lot. Turns out he goes to the same camp that these friends go to, and one of them cornered me and asked if i liked him and i said no but decided yes and was about to say so but she was like,'you're hogging __! so stop!' __ is this guy she likes but only talked to him once about and it was because i was talking to him because we're friends and i like him too.
