What's up with this girl?

A girl came up to me and gave me her number. I thought she was cute and I texted her back. Apparently she lived pretty far from me. But we still kept in contact and she said that she would always come back to see me. We texted on a daily basis. The one day I saw her fb and it said that she was in a relationship. I asked her if she had a bf and she said no. But after that day she wouldn't respond to my text. Then a couple of days later and she responds. She said that she had been really busy. So I thought it was so. Then again she does not respond. We haven't kept in contact for 2 weeks. Then she ims me saying that she was sorry and that she had been really busy. She also said that her phone didnt work. Is she really busy or is she just playing around?
