Someone please answer!!!!! Doctors or someone who knows a plus too!!!!?

I have asthmatic bronchitis. Since I have asthma it makes it more worse than someone without asthma. My question is, my bronchitis infection has cleared up. My asthma has cleared up, but why is the cough still persistant?? I am still taking the meds for everything and it is now going on 2 weeks. I have been out of work for now two weeks because of this illness. The violent coughing spells have drastically calmed down a bit, but is still persistant enough my life is disrupted and on hold until that goes away. My doctors can't predict on how long it will be like this. I'm on every med you can think of for this lus breathing treatments. I don't smoke. The asthma not a problem. It's the cough ociated with bronchitis causing complications. How long does this last for? What to do? I am dying to get my life back and go back to work again!!!
